What do I need to consider when using heat treatments?

Based on our many years of experience, we check the feasibility of the prescribed heat treatment and advise you on the best alternatives, if necessary.

What does “in-house machine construction” mean at nosta?

Our in-house mechanical engineering department examines the optimal production method for corresponding customer inquiries, especially for larger quantities and multi-year terms.
This also includes production using a specially built machine with automation in a single clamping. This enables us to offer market-driven and particularly competitive prices.

Why does nosta rely on its own mechanical engineering?

With our special machine construction, we support our customers in achieving optimal prices for their products.
At the same time, we ensure stable delivery quantities and consistent prices and quality. This is precisely what sets nosta apart and reflects our DNA.

What services does nosta offer in the field of mechanical engineering?

The division covers planning in close consultation with the customer, design, automation, robotics/handling, and the integration of tooling and work systems as well as measuring and packaging systems – all from a single source.

For which applications is your own mechanical engineering used?

Nosta machine tools are mainly used for parts that are made from profile material and require reworking.
When automatic measuring machines are required due to customer specifications (e.g., Cpk 1.66) and small tolerances.
Automatic assembly machines (e.g., ball/spring), automatic packaging machines, automatic milling machines with multiple clamping, or for complex automation of systems.

Is nosta’s mechanical engineering also offered externally or is it used exclusively for its own production?

The focus is on internal use to optimize nosta’s manufacturing. External mechanical engineering deliveries are not the primary business area.

How is the maintenance and further development of the machines ensured at nosta?

We integrate monitoring and continuous optimization through maintenance plans into the systems so that both efficiency and quality are permanently ensured. Furthermore, CIP (continuous improvement process) is practiced by our employees, who are also involved accordingly.
